Associate Professor Damien Jolley

A/Prof Damien Jolley is an accredited statistician experienced with a broad range of statistical methods in epidemiology.  He is currently Senior Biostatistician in the Centre of Research Excellence in Patient Safety, housed within the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, Monash University. Previous positions include Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning) at Deakin University, Principal Research Fellow at the Department of Public Health at Melbourne University, Senior Research Associate in the Department of Dermatology at St Vincent's hospital, and Research Fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He also works as an independent consultant to various national and international scientific and health organisations.  A/Prof Jolley has presented at many national and international conferences and published extensively.  He was co-winner of the prestigious Volvo Award on Low Back Pain Research In 2001, and won the MJA/Wyeth Award for best clinical research paper published in the MJA in 2004.
