Georgiana Chin

Georgiana Chin is a PhD Scholar undertaking research into clinical handover using an obstetric model. Her interest was sparked in the field of Quality and Safety in healthcare during her specialist training at the Royal Women’s Hospital which included a year as a Quality and Safety Fellow while working as Principal Registrar/ Senior Registrar at this hospital.

Georgiana is currently a Visiting Consultant Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist attached to The Royal Women’s Hospital and a Fellow of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinical School (University of Melbourne). Her clinical work within The Royal Women’s Hospital includes working within the ‘Women’s Drug and Alcohol Service’ team caring for women with substance dependence issues in pregnancy, in addition she is also a Consultant Obstetrician at the ‘Young Mum’s Clinic’.
